Job summary

CHEP Orlando, FL is seeking a Plant Operations Supervisor for the 2nd shift (2:30 PM – 11:30 PM) to lead production, shipping, and safety on the floor. You will mentor staff, drive lean improvements, and partner with maintenance to keep plant operations running smoothly.

The role requires strong people leadership, a track record in manufacturing or engineering environments, and the ability to manage costs and yield while upholding CHEP safety standards and procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a production or maintenance team in a plant setting.
• Strong understanding of safety programs and compliance.
• Ability to analyze data to improve cost, yield and schedule performance.
• Proven ability to coach and develop non-exempt staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production employees and oversee schedules for raw and finished goods.
• Lead safety initiatives and promote a proactive safety culture.
• Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
• Drive continuous improvement to improve efficiency, quality and cost.
• Monitor plant costs and yield in partnership with Plant Manager.
• Ensure compliance with CHEP procedures and instructions.
