Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America in the Kansas City area is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead safe, efficient 24/7 shift operations in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Engineering Technology).
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field (Preferred)
• Six Sigma Green Belt or higher (Preferred)
• OSHA 30‑Hour General Industry certification (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shift operations to achieve production, quality, cost, and delivery targets; ensure adherence to SWIs.
• Drive Lean manufacturing and 6S initiatives; support SQDCP metrics and data‑driven problem solving.
• Train and onboard new employees on SOPs, SWIs, and safety protocols; coach and develop team members.
• Collaborate with HR and leadership on employee relations and performance issues.
• Participate in PFMEA and risk mitigation activities with Process Engineers; support control plan implementation.
