Job summary

Little Leaf Farms is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee packaging and labeling of leafy greens, ensuring cost efficiency and GMP compliance. The role coordinates shifts, schedules, and monitors staff performance to meet production targets.

You will lead safety, quality, and productivity goals, coach team members, and collaborate across departments to sustain strong relationships and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• One-year certificate from college or technical school or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.
• Completion of an OSHA 10-hour course.
• Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills.
• Able to train and motivate department personnel.
• Able to supervise department personnel in a fair and consistent manner.
• Must be able to work overtime, weekends, or other shifts when required.
• Spanish required.
• Ability to perform routine functions and reporting within MS Word and Excel
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of teammates

Responsibilities

• Oversee the packaging and labeling of leafy greens products while meeting cost and GMP guidelines.
• Coordinate shifts, establish work schedules, and monitor employee performance.
• Lead safety, throughput, and quality goals through planning and appraisal of results.
• Coach and mentor teammates and resolve performance issues appropriately.
• Collaborate with other departments to promote positive work relationships.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and Standard Work Instructions.
• Drive continuous improvement through Lean practices and RCA when needed.
• Attend seminars and training to enhance professional competence.
• Monitor inventory and assist budgeting goals for the department.
