Job summary

Qualifications

• 5 years growing experience.
• 1–2 years supervisory experience.
• Pesticide applicator license.
• Grower’s Safety Training.
• Proficient in Hortimax and Microsoft software.
• Analytical and strong communication skills.
• Teamwork and problem-solving abilities.
• Managing people.

Responsibilities

• Manage greenhouse systems including climate and water quality.
• Prep and mix fertilizers for planting.
• Analyze pests and take corrective actions.
• Monitor forecast, irrigation totals, and water bills.
• Evaluate crop health to predict yield.
• Conduct daily seeding and line inspections.
• Train staff on SOPs and safety.
• Order materials for growing and cleaners.
• Track expenses for growing materials and utilities.
• Interview applicants and recommend hires.
• Evaluate staff performance and actions.
• Participate in grower meetings and audits.
