Bollinger Mississippi Shipbuilding, LLC in Pascagoula, MS, seeks a Welding Supervisor to lead a group of hourly welders, ensuring quality, safety, and productivity on production schedules.
You will oversee daily assignments, monitor progress, and work with foremen to optimize procedures, equipment and manpower. A strong communication and leadership mindset is required.
The role emphasizes compliance with state and federal safety regulations and the ability to read blueprints and welding drawings.
Supervises the activities of a group of hourly welders to meet company quality and safety standards within production schedules, in the most cost-effective manner. Works under the general direction of a Foreman, Superintendent or other plant management position.

Knowledge of plant operations with particular emphasis on welding techniques and equipment involved. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and work objectives. Ability to effectively communicate. Knowledge of State and Federal and regulations related to safety, health and environmental. Familiar with all company policies and procedures.
High School Diploma or GED required and a minimum of 4 years of demonstrated experience in the craft position posted.
