EK in Fall River, Wisconsin, is seeking a Lead Welder to supervise welding operations and lead a team of welders in completing manufacturing projects. Key responsibilities include overseeing production, improving welding processes, and training employees. The ideal candidate should possess a Technical Diploma and relevant experience, with a strong understanding of various welding methods and the ability to read blueprints.
The position also requires physical capability, regular inspections, and effective communication with management to ensure high-quality standards are met.
Lead welders on complete manufacturing projects as well as welds metal components together using a variety of arc welding processes.

Oversees and leads welders in the Power Products division. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Reports any problems and issues that arise to the Weld Supervisor and/or Fabrication Manager.
One-year Technical Diploma; three to five years related experience and/or training and a High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
