Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma, vocational school or equivalent.
  • Experience: 6+ months in food manufacturing; mechanical abilities to operate basic hand tools; familiar with SOPs.
  • Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication.
  • Special Skills: Ability to supervise, manage, build and lead a team; perform essential functions w/ or w/o accommodation; dough making and back-up supervising experience.
  • Physical Requirement: Requires flexibility of wrists/hands; walking, bending, standing; lift up to 50 lbs; occasional 30 ft heights.

Job description

Summary

This position is responsible for the overall operation of the line including safety quality and productivity. Other duties include: manage all company safety rules regulations and documentation; insure that team is in full compliance and training is up to date and documented; produce all product following production and packaging parameters to insure that quality requirements are maintained and documented; operate all production equipment to maximize line output while maintaining all quality standards; manage all GMP s training supervising and documenting the team s performance; clean all equipment in accordance with the SOPs; maintain control of all equipment and tools; follow company policies procedures written or verbal; other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education: High School Diploma vocational school or equivalent.

Experience: 6 plus months experience in food manufacturing; mechanical abilities to operate basic hand tools in the disassembly and assembly of dough making handling and packaging equipment; familiar with SOP’s.

Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills.

Special Skills: Ability to supervise manage build and lead a team; ability to perform essential functions of job with or without reasonable accommodation; minimum dough making, and back up supervising experience required.

Physical Requirement: Requires 100% flexibility of wrists and hands; walking, bending, standing, and some lifting required; ability to tolerate heights up to 30 feet off the ground on occasion; lifting of up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis; ability to move heavy objects 100 lbs. with mechanical device.

Pay and Incentives

Pay Range/Rate: $24.35

Additional compensation may be available for this position based on various factors such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonuses. Pay is just one part of Tyson’s total compensation package.
