Job summary

Tyson Foods seeks a line supervisor responsible for the overall operation of the line, focusing on safety, quality and productivity. You will manage safety rules and documentation, ensure team compliance and up-to-date training, and produce products following required parameters to maintain quality.

You will operate production equipment to maximize output while upholding quality standards, supervise GMP training and team performance, and handle cleaning per SOPs.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma vocational school or equivalent.
  • Experience: 6 plus months experience in food manufacturing; mechanical abilities to operate basic hand tools in the disassembly and assembly of dough making handling and packaging equipment; familiar with SOP's.

Summary

Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma vocational school or equivalent.
  • Experience: 6 plus months experience in food manufacturing; mechanical abilities to operate basic hand tools in the disassembly and assembly of dough making handling and packaging equipment; familiar with SOP's.
  • Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Special Skills: Ability to supervise manage build and lead a team; ability to perform essential functions of job with or without reasonable accommodation; minimum dough making, and back up supervising experience required.
  • Physical Requirement: Requires 100 flexibility of wrists and hands; walking bending, standing, and some lifting required; ability to tolerate heights up to 30 feet off the ground on occasion; lifting of up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis; ability to move heavy objects 100 lbs. with mechanical device.
  • Sponsorship is not available for this position. Must reside in the United States.
Pay and Hours
  • Work Shift: 2ND SHIFT (United States of America)
  • Pay Range/Rate: $24.35
  • Incentives: Annual Incentive Plan: No Long-Term Incentive Plan: No
