Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Regional Leadless Specialist for the Cardiac Rhythm Management Leadless division. This field-based position is based in the United States, covering the Great Plains Territory, and focuses on adoption and growth of leadless technology.

The Regional Leadless Specialist provides technical, clinical, educational and sales support, working with internal and external customers to drive therapy adoption and procedural success. Expect significant travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (engineering) or equivalent/related experience.
• 7+ years of clinical medical device experience, ideally CRM.
• Ability to analyze and evaluate technologically complex devices.
• Ability to collaborate and work with others effectively.
• High level of comfort in medical environments, including labs and hospitals.
• Proven success leading and influencing customers; provide guidance to course correct as needed.
• Proficient written and verbal communications.
• Thorough familiarity with Microsoft Office and related tools.
• Willingness to travel 50-75% of time.

Responsibilities

• Educates physicians, nurses and other healthcare providers on leadless pacing indications.
• Provide procedural support per use/trial protocol and best practices for outcomes.
• Assist in education and training activities for Abbott personnel.
• Stay abreast of and communicate clinical data regarding leadless CRM products.
• Coordinate programs and resources to facilitate market expansion and therapy access.
• Provide market intelligence for therapy training and expansion plans.
• Liaise with marketing for technology improvements and feedback on next generation products.
• Complete administrative reporting as assigned.
