Job summary

Loews Arlington Hotel and Convention Center is seeking an organized Housekeeping Supervisor to lead daily room and public area cleaning, ensuring high cleanliness standards and guest satisfaction. This role supervises staff, inspects rooms, coordinates with maintenance and front desk, and trains team members while managing budget and safety protocols.

Weekend/evening shifts may be required. Applicants should have at least two years in guest services with leadership experience and familiarity

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience required.
• Minimum of two years of guest service experience in hotel hospitality preferred.
• Minimum one-year guest service leadership role preferred.
• Experience with Property Management System, Opera preferred.
• Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis in a hotel setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise housekeeping staff, ensuring they perform duties per hotel standards and policies.
• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas for cleanliness, maintenance, and safety.
• Assign daily tasks to housekeeping team and monitor performance for efficiency and quality.
• Ensure proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment; adhere to safety and sanitation regulations.
• Train, mentor, and coach housekeeping staff on procedures, guest service, and equipment usage.
• Handle guest requests and complaints professionally, ensuring satisfaction and prompt resolution.
• Collaborate with maintenance and front desk to address concerns, repairs, and room readiness.
• Ensure department operates within budget, reduces waste, and maintains high-quality standards.
