Job summary

Hertz Local Edition is hiring a Manager Trainee to support location performance, develop leadership skills, and prepare for promotion to Branch Manager in 12–18 months. You will gain hands-on experience across sales, operations, fleet, and finance while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

The program emphasizes leadership development, mentorship, and structured training to help you grow into a branch leadership role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 20 years of age or older and hold a valid driver’s license.
• Strong computer and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Self-motivated, adaptable and eager to grow.
• Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Sales & Customer Service: Support achievement of location sales goals.
• Deliver excellent customer experience to contribute to high customer service scores.
• Learn and apply sales techniques and CRM best practices.
• Operations & Fleet Management: Gain hands-on experience in fleet logistics and inventory control.
• Assist with store operations and compliance.
• Vehicle and Facility Care: Support team with miscellaneous tasks including cleaning and preparing vehicles.
• Finance & Administration: Learn finance processes and support deal completion.
• Understand reporting, documentation, and business metrics.
• Leadership Development: Shadow and support management in daily operations, build leadership skills, and prepare for future roles.
