The 84 Lumber Company is seeking a Learning and Development Specialist to deliver, implement and evaluate learning programs for associate development and performance across the organization. Responsibilities include leadership and professional development content, product knowledge and customer service skills.

The role coordinates program delivery, collaborates with the Training and Development team, and supports vendor-led learning initiatives to ensure effective execution and measurable impact.

Qualifikationen

• Facilitation of leadership and professional development programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication across groups.
• Plan and execute training events including scheduling and enrollment.
• Develop learning materials, curricula and job aids for ongoing development.
• Maintain class records and LMS data (Brainshark).
• Produce daily and weekly training reports.
• Collaborate with team on design, updates and improvements.

Aufgaben

• Facilitates leadership and professional development programs to ensure leaders and team members have skills and knowledge to perform in their role.
• Teaches various topics to our store Associates (Service and Sales, Product Knowledge, Business Knowledge, etc.) to better equip them with the knowledge and tools needed for increased success.
• Plans and implements training events, including but not limited to session scheduling, participant enrollment, and material
• Develops learning materials, curricula, job aids, and other training resources to support ongoing associate development.
• Maintains class records and user information in learning management system (Brainshark).
• Produces daily and weekly reports.
• Collaborates with other team members, providing delivery feedback, course updates, design input, recommendations, and continuous improvement for all professional and leadership development learning programs.
• Creates an engaging learning experience in the classroom for visual, auditory and kinesthetic adult learners.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of learning programs and offers design and development recommendations to instructional designers.
