Let’s Play Soccer in Portage, MI is hiring for a Manager in Training with a clear pathway to General Manager. You’ll recruit, train, schedule, and coach with GM guidance, while supporting league registrations, memberships, and local partnerships. You’ll run daily operations, manage payroll, inventory, safety, and maintenance, and ensure guests feel valued.

Growth is tracked toward promotion to GM. Starting salary is $45,000–$54,000 with a path to $70,000–$80,000+; benefits are 100% company-paid,

Qualifications

• Leadership or supervisory experience in sports, retail, hospitality, or operations.
• Sales or customer service experience.
• 18+ years old and willing to work evenings/weekends.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Learn to lead the team: recruit, train, schedule, and coach with guidance from GM.
• Support revenue growth: assist with league registrations, memberships, and local partnerships.
• Run daily operations: help manage scheduling, payroll, inventory, safety, and maintenance.
• Deliver great experiences: greet players, resolve issues, and help every guest feel valued.
• Own your growth: track progress and prepare for promotion to GM.
