Job summary

Day & Zimmermann is seeking a Manager, Leadership & Learning Program to design, develop, and implement scalable learning initiatives across Munitions. You will partner with People & Culture, HR, and business leaders to identify needs and build practical solutions that prepare employees for higher responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences in Learning & Development, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Instructional Design, Education, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in learning and development, instructional design, leadership development, training program management, or a related discipline.
• Formal coursework or demonstrated expertise in adult learning and instructional design.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, implementation, and sustainment of a progressive supervisor and leadership development framework for Munitions, aligning to increasing levels of responsibility and decision authority.
• Design and develop practical learning solutions across instructor-led, virtual, blended, and asynchronous formats (curricula, guides, job aids, eLearning).
• Facilitate onboarding and capability programs for supervisors and leaders using various delivery methods; provide coaching and reinforcement to ensure transfer of learning.
• Assess learning needs through stakeholder input, feedback, and performance data; measure effectiveness and refine curricula and delivery methods.
• Build relationships with site leaders, HR Partners, and SMEs to align learning priorities with business needs.
