Oglethorpe University Inc. seeks an Associate Director of Development to cultivate, solicit, and steward leadership annual donors ($1,000–$9,999) and manage a ~150–200 prospect portfolio. You will partner with annual giving, alumni engagement, and advancement to strengthen the path to major gifts.

You will conduct discovery to qualify new donors, perform regular outreach (in person, virtual, phone, email), and maintain CRM records while exceeding performance metrics.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2–4 years of frontline fundraising experience with direct donor visits.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively.
• CRM proficiency with Raiser’s Edge and Salesforce.
• Willingness to travel locally and regionally, including evenings and weekends.

Mansioni

• Manage and grow a portfolio of leadership annual giving donors.
• Develop cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies.
• Conduct donor outreach via in-person visits, virtual meetings, and calls.
• Meet or exceed annual visit, solicitation, and revenue goals.
• Identify potential major gift donors and transition them to leadership staff.
• Maintain accurate donor activity in the CRM system.
• Collaborate with campus partners to align funding opportunities with donor interests.
