Job summary

Western Governors University is seeking a Training & Development Manager to drive institutional values through leadership development and targeted training aligned with the university's mission. The role partners with Financial Aid leadership to identify development needs, design effective programs, and ensure delivery of quality training.

You will lead a team of training professionals, oversee curriculum development, and measure impact on key business indicators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or Education.
• 5+ years in leadership and development training.
• 1+ year progressive leadership/management.
• Instructional design experience and/or portfolio.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provides training, coaching, and performance feedback to direct reports.
• Works with senior management for personnel development within Financial Aid.
• Collaborates with university leaders on training best practices.
• Reviews curriculum components with subject matter experts regularly.
• Delivers core training initiatives and tracks progress.
