Job summary

Dairyland Power Cooperative is seeking a Leadership and Professional Skills Trainer in La Crosse, WI. This hybrid role combines corporate training with instructional design to help employees develop practical leadership and professional skills.

The position requires at least five years of facilitation experience, two years in design of learning materials, and collaboration with business leaders. Hybrid work, competitive salary, and strong benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in learning and development, instructional design, education, human resources, organizational development, or related field (or equivalent).
• At least five (5) years of experience facilitating leadership, professional development, or related training in a corporate setting.
• At least two (2) years designing or developing instructor-led, virtual, or blended learning.
• Experience partnering with business leaders and subject matter experts to identify learning needs and develop training solutions.
• Familiarity with Crucial Learning courses and their application to workplace leadership and communication, preferred.
• Current certification from Blanchard to facilitate SLII, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate leadership and professional development courses in-person, virtual, and blended settings.
• Design and develop instructor-led, virtual and self-paced materials including facilitator guides and activities.
• Apply adult learning principles to create engaging learning experiences.
• Partner with leaders and subject matter experts to identify needs and develop solutions.
• Deliver programs per requirements while adapting examples to the audience.
• Lead discussions, activities, and provide feedback to support application.
• Evaluate learning effectiveness through feedback and assessments and update content accordingly.
• Stay current on leadership development and instructional design best practices.
