Job summary

Dairyland Power Cooperative in La Crosse, WI, invites motivated students to join our Learning & Development team as a Technical Training Intern. You will support apprenticeship programs, organize training records, and help create learning content for field employees.

You will gain hands-on exposure to the electric utility industry, Workday Learning, SharePoint, and other learning tools while contributing to employee skill development and safety-focused training.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college, university, or technical college.
• Pursuing an associate, bachelor’s, or graduate degree in instructional design, education, adult learning, human resources, organizational development, business, psychology, communications, educational technology, or a related field.
• Previous internship or professional experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Support technical training and apprenticeship programs with accurate records and milestone tracking.
• Maintain apprenticeship schedules, forms, and training resources in organized locations.
• Assist with onboarding, field visits, training, and progression of learners.
• Maintain Workday Learning records including attendance and transcripts.
• Prepare participant communications and materials for a consistent learner experience.
• Partner with staff to turn field experience into training content using basic instructional design.
