Job summary

Core & Main in St. Louis seeks an experienced Learning & Organizational Development Specialist to design, facilitate, and support leadership development initiatives that elevate capability and performance.

You will deliver instructor-led and virtual programs, support talent and engagement efforts, assist with change management, and partner with HR to develop leaders and teams across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, OD, education, business, psychology, or communications.
• 2+ years of learning and development experience.
• Experience facilitating classroom, virtual, and workshop learning.
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
• Ability to build relationships and influence across levels.
• Strong organization and project management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Teams, and learning technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead instructor-led in-person, virtual, and blended leadership facilitation.
• Deliver leadership development programs, workshops, cohorts, and development experiences.
• Create engaging learning environments that encourage participation and application.
• Reinforce learning through coaching conversations, activities, and follow-up support.
• Partner with leaders and HR to identify leadership capability needs and priorities.
• Track participation, completion, and effectiveness for program evaluation.
• Maintain curriculum, facilitator guides, participant materials, toolkits, and resources.
• Coordinate leadership assessments, development planning, mentoring, and related programs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support leadership readiness and organizational development.
