Job summary

Core & Main LP is seeking an Operations & Training Specialist based in St. Louis to support onboarding, coaching, and operational excellence across an assigned territory.

You will work closely with branch leadership to drive consistency in processes and system adoption, delivering hands-on coaching and structured development programs. The role involves classroom, virtual, and on-the-job training, travel to branch locations, and collaboration with Learning & Organizational Development to align

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years with Core & Main, in a sales-supporting or related role.
• Proficient with data analysis and problem solving to drive improvements.
• Strong MS Office skills and experience with collaboration platforms.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on training and coaching for ISRs and other operatives.
• Assist with onboarding and accelerate productivity through structured programs.
• Promote adoption of ERP/operational systems and tools.
• Identify training opportunities with branch/regional leadership and address gaps.
• Support warehouse operations training and reinforce best practices.
• Conduct branch visits to observe workflows and suggest improvements.
• Facilitate classroom, virtual, and on-the-job training sessions.
