Job summary

The Partnership for Public Service’s Public Service Leadership Institute seeks a manager and facilitator to design, deliver, and oversee government leadership development programs. You will work with diverse audiences—from emerging leaders to executives—to build leadership capacity and drive institutional improvement.

This hybrid role in Washington, DC requires strong facilitation, project management and relationship-building skills, with a track record of delivering high-quality programs for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional/military experience.
• Minimum of five to seven years of relevant work experience managing and facilitating high-quality virtual and in-person programs/events.
• Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders and subject matter experts to customize program approaches/content.
• Experience working in or with federal, state or local government preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, planning and execution of government leadership development programming for diverse audiences.
• Manage and facilitate training programs, seminars, meetings, workshops and problem-solving sessions.
• Create session materials and tools for leadership development training.
• Oversee programs/projects: strategy, goals, metrics, budgeting and reporting.
• Build and maintain relationships with participants, officials and experts to ensure program success.
• Develop strategic relationships with government agencies to amplify impact.
• Contribute to proposals and fee-for-service program development.
• Mentor and coach junior staff and interns.
• Represent the Partnership at external meetings and events.
