The ASU Foundation for a New American University seeks a Development Officer to implement a comprehensive leadership and annual giving program in collaboration with the W.P. Carey School of Business.

The role builds a pipeline of donors through discovery engagements and targeted cultivation. Reporting to the Director of Development, you will manage a portfolio up to $50,000, coordinate with teams, and help shape strategies for engagement, events, and stewardship while maintaining confidential

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or current enrollment in a related field.
• Willingness to learn fundraising principles for annual/unrestricted giving.
• Experience planning and implementing long- and short-range development initiatives.
• Experience managing events and complex activities to support objectives.

Aufgaben

• Engage with donors, alumni, faculty, staff and manage performance metrics.
• Manage a portfolio of leadership and annual giving prospects up to $50,000 through strategies, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship.
• Identify and engage discovery prospects with prospect research to add to core portfolios.
• Support fundraising and engagement efforts by refining activities for leadership and annual giving.
• Coordinate with campaign teams on best practices for engagement, solicitations and events.
• Connect donors to ASU via events and engagement opportunities.
• Collaborate with development colleagues and university constituents across programs and initiatives.
• Staff donors at ASU Foundation and university events and programs.
• Assist with campaign progress monitoring and unit annual giving activities.
• Use donor databases to maintain confidential information and activity.
• Coordinate with enterprise colleagues on faculty/student engagement and solicitation.
