Job summary

JPMorganChase in New York seeks a senior private credit investment professional focused on North America secondary and co-investment opportunities to join the GAIS Private Credit Platform. You will lead sourcing, underwriting and execution across complex opportunities, partnering with portfolio managers, legal, tax and operations.

You will help shape scalable diligence playbooks and processes, mentor junior team members, and communicate investment rationale to senior stakeholders and committees

Qualifications

• 8+ years of private credit/related investing experience with ownership of workstreams.
• Strong underwriting across corporate and/or structured credit with covenants and protections.
• Ability to drive complex, time-sensitive processes with many stakeholders.
• Excellent written and oral communication, crisp investment conclusions for committees.
• Commercial mindset with strong judgement and relationship skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, independent in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and execute private credit secondaries and co-investments in North America.
• Lead end-to-end transaction execution across multiple concurrent processes.
• Conduct detailed trade- and fund-level diligence and underwriting analyses.
• Prepare and present investment materials and communicate risks to senior stakeholders.
• Partner with portfolio managers on construction and post-close monitoring.
• Help build scalable underwriting frameworks and diligences playbooks.
