Job summary

Chartis Federal is seeking a Division Director – Engineering Solutions & Services to lead the ESS strategy, execution and growth across TACCOM, LMR, and mission-critical engineering services. The role blends technical leadership with portfolio leadership and requires engagement with DHS and Federal Civilian agencies for delivery excellence.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in Federal Government Contracting.
Proven success managing complex engineering, communications, or technical service portfolios with P&L responsibility >$50M.
Leadership of Program Managers, engineers, and cross-functional technical teams.
Strong understanding of Federal acquisition, program execution, compliance, and contract management.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or closely related technical discipline preferable.
Willingness to travel ~20% annually.
Strong executive-level communication skills for non-technical stakeholders.
Results-driven leadership balancing hands-on technical oversight with portfolio growth.

Responsibilities

Own full P&L for the ESS portfolio, including TACCOM, LMR, and engineering services contracts.
Drive revenue growth, margin performance, forecasting accuracy, and cost discipline.
Develop workforce planning strategies and staffing models to support growth.
Provide executive oversight for ESS programs with performance against schedule, cost, quality and customer satisfaction.
Establish engineering-centric program execution standards across design, deployment, and lifecycle support.
