Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounts receivable, collections, cash forecasting.
• Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, high-volume finance operations environment.
• Strong analytical skills to assess aging, exposure, payment trends, and collection risk.
• Effective communication and influencing skills to partner across Finance, Commercial, Operations, Billing, and customer-facing teams.
• Sound business judgment balancing cash recovery, customer relationships, operational needs, and risk.
• Strong organizational and Excel reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of collections specialists supporting emerging and higher-risk client accounts.
• Drive collection performance, cash flow protection, aging reduction, and issue resolution across a large, complex portfolio.
• Oversee collection strategy for high-risk accounts, large balances, delayed payments, disputes, and escalations requiring senior-level intervention.
• Monitor portfolio trends, payment behavior, disputes, and forecast risk to proactively identify and mitigate collection challenges.
• Partner with Commercial, Finance, Operations, Billing, and Project Finance teams to resolve issues impacting customer payment and cash realization.
• Support cash forecasting, portfolio reviews, escalation management, and performance reporting to improve visibility and forecast accuracy.
• Drive process improvements, automation opportunities, KPI reporting, and operational discipline to enhance scalability, efficiency, and customer experience.
