- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of assigned cleaning staff.
- Perform routine cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, and waste removal.
- Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with GDI quality standards and client expectations.
- Train, coach, and support team members on proper cleaning procedures, equipment operation, and safety practices.
- Assign tasks and ensure work is completed efficiently and within scheduled timeframes.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment and report replenishment needs.
- Maintain a safe working environment by following company policies and OSHA regulations.
- Address employee performance issues and communicate concerns or recommendations to management.
- Respond promptly to client requests and resolve service-related issues professionally.
- Complete required reports, inspections, and documentation accurately and on time.
- Assist with special projects, floor care, and deep-cleaning activities as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 1-2 years of commercial cleaning experience.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and industry best practices.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks involving standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
