Job summary

Mount Prospect Academy’s Vermont Permanency Initiative is hiring a Residential Supervisor to lead a youth-focused, 2nd shift team in Bennington, VT. You will supervise direct care staff, ensure safety, structure, and therapeutic activities, and oversee dormitory operations and documentation.

The role requires at least a High School Diploma or GED, 21+ years old, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision, guidance, and positive role modeling for youth.
• Lead and supervise direct care staff and crisis intervention as needed.
• Maintain safety, structure, and a therapeutic environment in the dormitory.
• Document logs, reports, and incident forms; ensure continuity of care.
• Coordinate daily dorm activities and supervise household routines.
• Support youth in building daily living skills and independence.
