Job summary

Justice Resource Institute's Cohannet Academy in Taunton, MA seeks an Assistant Residential Supervisor to lead a dynamic team of residential counselors in an intensive treatment setting for adolescents.

You will monitor safety, provide supervision and on-going training, and ensure the well-being and daily care of students, while upholding program policies and procedures. Evening, weekend shifts required; 32-hour full-time schedule on 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Residential program or mental health facility experience required.
• Supervisory experience in Mental Health facility required.
• Maintains valid driver's license as transporting students is required.
• Available to work evenings, holidays, weekend shifts as required.
• At JRI, you will learn to provide physical interventions and verbal de-escalations to provide the safest therapeutic atmosphere for our students!

Responsibilities

• Ensure program safety and compliance with safety and security procedures on site and during on-call coverage.
• Support the professional development of Residential Counselors through training and supervision.
• Support efforts to ensure the safety and well-being of students.
• Uphold Cohannet Academy's Residential Department policies and procedures.
