Job summary

Canterbury Place, a leading senior living community under new leadership by Oakdale Seniors Alliance, is seeking a dedicated Wound Care/Infection Prevention RN to join our team. You will oversee wound care protocols and infection prevention for residents in a compassionate, resident-centered environment.

Ideal candidates hold a PA RN license with 2+ years in wound care; CWOCN certification is a plus. This exempt, on-site role offers growth opportunities and a supportive leadership team.

Qualifications

• PA RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years wound care management experience.
• CWOCN or similar certification is a plus.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive wound assessments and develop individualized care plans for residents with chronic or acute wounds.
• Implement and monitor effective wound healing strategies, utilizing a variety of dressings and therapies.
• Educate staff on proper wound care techniques and best practices.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure the highest quality of care and compliance with regulations.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based wound care protocols.
