Job summary

The Lord Chamberlain Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Stratford, Connecticut is seeking an Infection Control/Wound Nurse. You will provide expert wound care and lead infection prevention initiatives within our post-acute care team.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to assess wounds, implement evidence-based treatments, educate staff, and help maintain a safe, clean environment for residents and colleagues. Current CT RN license required; new grads welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Connecticut is required.
• Experience in infection control and wound care preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct wound assessments and develop care plans for complex wounds.
• Apply evidence-based wound care treatments to promote healing and prevent complications.
• Maintain accurate records of interventions and patient progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team on infection control issues.
• Educate staff on infection control and wound care best practices.
• Support quality improvement initiatives in wound care and infection control.
