Job summary

Highbrow Technology Inc. seeks a Workday Payroll Subject Matter Expert to guide payroll design, configuration governance, and alignment with benefits. The consultant will oversee testing, vendor coordination, and parallel payroll comparisons during transformation initiatives.

This expert will drive payroll frequency changes and coordinate with HR, Finance, Benefits, Compensation, and downstream application teams to ensure go-live readiness and successful payroll processing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Workday Payroll experience.
• Strong knowledge of Workday Payroll configuration and design.
• Experience with payroll testing, reconciliation, and configuration governance.
• Experience supporting payroll transformation and payroll frequency changes.
• Strong stakeholder coordination and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Workday Payroll design and configuration decisions.
• Configure and redesign pay groups, payroll calendars, earnings, deductions, and related payroll components.
• Support payroll configuration governance and payroll-to-benefits alignment.
• Oversee payroll testing and coordinate with relevant stakeholders and vendors.
• Manage parallel payroll comparisons and payroll reconciliation.
• Support cutover planning, conversion validation, and go-live readiness.
• Partner with HR, Finance, Benefits, Compensation, and downstream application teams.
• Support payroll transformation and third-party payroll processing activities.
