Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Workday Payroll expert to lead design, configuration, testing, and implementation efforts across client payroll and related HR/Finance processes. You will partner with clients, analyze pain points, and translate requirements into cohesive Workday solutions.

You will guide design sessions, manage cross-functional impacts, and oversee the transition from legacy systems to Workday Payroll, while engaging with integration teams for seamless integrations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Workday functional implementation experience.
• Led at least two Workday implementations from start to finish, with at least one year of project leadership.
• Experience gathering business requirements, designing and prototyping, testing and implementing practical business solutions.

Responsibilities

• Become a Workday Payroll product expert with knowledge of design, configuration, testing, and implementation.
• Partner with client to understand pain points, prioritize requirements and identify opportunities to improve processes and gain efficiency by leveraging Workday’s Payroll functionality.
• Architect Workday Payroll solution to ensure cross-functional cohesion and mitigated impacts.
• Recommend best solutions based on client requirements, budget, and timeframe; adapt scope as needed.
• Guide customers through design sessions and configuration decisions based on best practices and client business needs.
• Support client through all project phases, ensuring smooth transfer from legacy systems to Workday Payroll.
• Collaborate with the integration team to configure and test Workday integrations with payroll and benefits providers.
