Job summary

Winter Park Recruiting LLC seeks a Workday Payroll Consultant in the Tampa, FL area to coordinate payroll processes and support the Payroll Supervisor. You will review Kronos time records, handle deductions and adjustments, and assist with payroll reporting and regulatory filings.

The role requires 5+ years in automated payroll processing, Workday experience, and healthcare payroll familiarity. Strong Excel/Word skills and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of automated payroll processing experience.
• Workday experience required.
• Healthcare industry experience preferred.
• Proficiency with computerized financial systems and operations.
• Familiarity with office organization and procedures.
• Proficiency in payroll applications such as Lawson and Kronos is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Word and Excel.
• High School Diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate payroll processes and assist Payroll Supervisor with duties.
• Review and process Kronos time records, compensation, deductions and adjustments.
• Assist with new hire and termination paperwork, payroll reports, and regulatory reporting.
• Maintain payroll files and prepare manual checks as needed.
• Answer payroll inquiries and ensure confidentiality of payroll information.
• Prepare employment tax registrations and returns for out-of-state employees.
• Communicate effectively with employees and management on payroll matters.
• Process payroll bi-weekly and ensure taxes are prepared for deposit.
