Job summary

Attain Partners is seeking an HCM Data Conversion Lead to drive the PeopleSoft-to-Workday migration within a higher education ERP modernization. You will lead the data conversion workstream, manage the data mapping, extraction, and validation, and coordinate with the client, SI partners, and functional teams.

The role requires hands-on data analysis, SQL/PeopleTools expertise, and a track record of delivering complex data conversions on time and to quality standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of ERP data conversion experience, including leading a data conversion workstream or major conversion effort.
• Deep hands‑on expertise with PeopleSoft HCM data structures, tables, extraction methods, and conversion tools across multiple HCM modules.
• Experience supporting PeopleSoft-to-Workday data conversions, with understanding of Workday data conversion and load processes.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and PeopleTools, including Application Designer; knowledge of Integration Broker is preferred.
• Strong data profiling, mapping, cleansing, transformation, reconciliation, and validation practices.
• Ability to lead technical teams, manage priorities, and communicate with stakeholders clearly.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end HCM data conversion workstream, including planning, scope, sequencing, estimates, milestones, dependencies, quality standards, and delivery.
• Lead and coordinate the work of data conversion developers, providing technical direction and reviewing deliverables.
• Serve as the primary client contact for HCM data conversion and align with system integrator and functional leads.
• Define and refine conversion strategy, data mapping framework, cutover approach, and readiness criteria.
• Partner with Workday teams to align source data with Workday objects and loading requirements.
• Lead data profiling, extraction, mapping, transformation, cleansing, and validation across in-scope HCM domains.
• Develop, review, and refine SQL, PeopleTools queries, extraction logic, and reconciliation routines.
