Meridian Partners seeks a Workday HCM Solution Architect to lead complex Workday initiatives for large public sector clients. You will shape scalable designs, guide solution direction, and mentor consultants, serving as the trusted face of the workstream to clients and executives.

The role requires 10+ years in HRIS/ERP, 5+ years delivering Workday, with deep expertise across Core HCM, Time Tracking, US Payroll, and related modules. This is a fully remote US-based role with up to 30% travel.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of HRIS or ERP experience, including 5+ years of Workday delivery.
• Proven experience as a Workday Solution Architect, Functional Architect.
• Deep functional expertise in one or more: Core HCM, Time Tracking, US Payroll, Absence & Leave, Benefits & Compensation.
• Public sector implementation experience (state/local government or K-12).
• Workday certifications (minimum two): Core HCM, US Payroll, Time Tracking, Recruiting, Learning.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end functional solution architecture for one or more Workday workstreams across multiple clients.
• Translate complex business and regulatory requirements into scalable Workday designs.
• Lead architecture and design workshops with clients and guide delivery teams.
• Validate solutions meet business needs while staying configurable and auditable.
• Mentor Functional Leads and Consultants across HCM, Time Tracking, and Payroll.
