Job summary

The City of Baltimore's Bureau of Accounting & Payroll Services (BAPS) is seeking a Principal Program Assessment Analyst specializing in Workday Financial Data Management in Accounting and Payroll to support the City's technology-driven payroll and financial operations. This position plays a critical role in the continued development and maintenance of Workday's functional workstreams.

Under the direction of Finance leadership, the Principal Program Assessment Analyst will be responsible for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Seven years of experience in administrative or professional work.
• Certification in Workday Time Financial Management or equivalency notes: a combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, develop, and implement solutions for the Grant, Projects and Financial Accounting workstreams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, creating and recommending appropriate solutions.
• Recommend, test, and document system enhancements using best practices to ensure system integrity and performance.
• Ensure thorough testing of system changes, including scenario development and validation.
• Collaborate with Accounting Managers, Grants Management and other functional leads for system changes and enhancements.
• Monitor system updates in production and proactively address post-implementation issues.
