Job summary

The City of Baltimore is seeking a Principal Program Assessment Analyst specializing in Workday Financial Data Management to support the city’s payroll and financial operations. You will lead configuration, testing, and governance across GAAP/GASB compliant Workday modules, partnering with accounting managers and grants management.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree, seven years of experience, and a Workday Time Financial Management certification.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Seven years of experience in administrative or professional work.
Certification in Workday Time Financial Management.
Equivalency Notes: Have an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proven Workday expertise in Accounting and Financial Data Management in ERP systems.

Responsibilities

Workday Configuration & Support
Analyze, develop, and implement solutions for the Grant, Projects and Financial Accounting workstreams.
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, creating and recommending appropriate solutions.
Recommend, test, and document system enhancements using best practices to ensure system integrity and performance.
Ensure thorough testing of system changes, including scenario development and validation.
Collaborate with Accounting Managers, Grants Management and other functional leads for system changes and enhancements.
Monitor system updates in production and proactively address any post-implementation issues.
