Job summary

ACS is seeking a highly skilled Workday Program Manager to lead enterprise HCM platform initiatives, primarily Workday. Responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and driving execution of implementations, enhancements, integrations, reporting, governance, testing, readiness, and operational transition activities across HR, payroll, finance, and IT.

This is a 6-month contract, hybrid role with 2 days onsite and 3 days remote, located in Washington, DC, offering health benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of program management experience in enterprise settings.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex cross-functional HCM programs.
• Hands-on Workday experience across planning, configuration, testing, and governance.
• Experience with MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, DevOps or equivalent tools.
• Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, SAFe, Agile, Scrum, Prosci, ITIL, Workday are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall Workday program across four workstreams and multiple areas.
• Align workstreams and coordinate the project managers.
• Establish the integrated project plan, hold regular meetings with project managers, and monitor progress against deadlines and budget.
• Identify gaps, risks, and issues early; escalate items that need attention.
• Put a written communication plan in place.
• Assess vendor risks and evaluate vendor recommendations and platform options.
• Anticipate future program needs and help set the stage for the project managers.
