Job summary

Allstate is seeking an experienced Lead Engineer to drive Workday Compensation capabilities, including Core and Advanced Compensation, and lead a team of Product Engineers. You will configure Workday, guide annual cycles, production support, release management, and deliver strategic improvements to enhance the employee experience.

The ideal candidate combines deep Workday expertise with strong leadership and a product mindset to deliver business value through technology.

Qualifications

5+ years of Workday experience with Core/Advanced Compensation, EIB, reporting, dashboards.
Experience leading or mentoring technical teams.
Strong understanding of compensation administration, salary planning, incentives and Total Rewards.
Experience gathering requirements, designing solutions, testing functionality, and supporting production environments.

Responsibilities

Lead design, configuration, implementation, and optimization of Workday Core/Advanced Compensation.
Partner with Digital Product Managers to align compensation solutions with programs and business objectives.
Provide technical input into product strategy, estimation and solution design.
Ensure solutions align with Workday best practices, security, and enterprise standards.
Drive continuous improvement to simplify processes and improve user experience.
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Product Engineers for Workday Compensation.
Provide technical leadership on complex configuration challenges and platform capabilities.
Collaborate with platform consultants, engineers, and cross-functional teams.
Track and improve key metrics and overall product health.
Oversee testing activities including functional, regression, integration and UAT.
