Job summary

Aon plc seeks an experienced Workday Adaptive Planning Architect to design and lead the enterprise planning platform, spanning budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, and scenario analysis. You will translate business needs into scalable technical solutions and own critical production support across FP&A teams.

With 7+ years in FP&A and 5+ years in Workday Adaptive Planning, you will guide data modeling, integrations, and governance while driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years FP&A or enterprise planning experience with 5+ years in Workday Adaptive Planning as architect/lead/admin/consultant.
• Deep expertise in data modeling, system integration, and performance optimization in large environments.
• Strong knowledge across adaptive modeling, workforce planning, forecasting, reporting, security and versioning.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IS/Finance/Accounting/Business/CS; Workday Pro Adaptive Planning Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement the vision, roadmap, governance and lifecycle management of the Workday Adaptive Planning platform.
• Lead the design of complex, scalable Adaptive Planning solutions with data integrity and seamless data flow.
• Lead technical solutioning for major Adaptive Planning initiatives from discovery through postproduction support.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and model architecture.
• Architect multidimensional planning models including dimensions, versions, levels and hierarchies.
• Plan revenue, expense, headcount, workforce and long-range planning; scenario modeling.
• Own urgent production issues and provide hands-on support with minimal disruption.
• Serve as domain authority, fixing process and technical issues in a timely manner.
• Configure and maintain Adaptive Planning models, sheets, formulas, and workflows; optimize performance.
• Develop executive reporting for OfficeConnect dashboards, scorecards and KPIs.
• Architect and oversee integrations with Workday Financials, ERP, data warehouses and BI platforms.
• Manage security architecture, provisioning, access controls and segregation of duties.
• Evaluate new capabilities including AI/LLM features and bi-annual release adoption.
• Serve as enterprise design authority for planning architecture and governance.
