Job summary

Tessera is seeking an Assistant Work Control Supervisor at the Petersburg, Virginia site to manage the administration and processing of maintenance work orders and to supervise Work Control staff in the absence of the Supervisor.

The role requires coordinating with the COR, ensuring timely reporting, and adherence to Tessera policies and safety standards while supporting a values-driven, disability-inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years Planning Work Control is preferred; technical, or other formal training may be substituted in part for experience. Completes work with quality, reliability, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage data entry and administrative production requirements of the contract; verify time/attendance and align payroll records with work control software.
• Oversee maintenance readiness reports and ensure timely submission to Site/Operations manager.
• Maintain maintenance records and required reports; monitor work orders in Maximo and work results in IFS/GFEBS.
• Supervise a 24/7/365 service order desk; produce recurring production reports for workload and trend analyses.
• Coordinate with COR to determine priorities, anticipate workload fluctuations, and ensure customer satisfaction.
