Shady Creek Winery in Michigan City, IN is seeking a confident, service-driven leader to guide the Front of House team across shifts.

As a Lead, you will work with the General Manager, support Hosts and Wine Tasting Associates, and step into any role to ensure a warm, seamless guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the General Manager to serve as a point person for Front of House operations during each shift.
• Support and guide Hosts, Support Staff, and Wine Tasting Associates
• Step into any role (host stand, bar, floor, retail) as needed
• Handle guest concerns professionally and resolve issues in the moment
• Maintain strong communication with managers and the team throughout the shift
• Oversee opening and closing responsibilities, ensuring standards are met
• Monitor cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of the winery
• Help uphold service standards and reinforce training expectations

At Shady Creek Winery, our Leads set the tone for the entire guest experience. They are the go-to support for the Front of House team, the problem-solvers on the floor, and the leaders who ensure everything runs smoothly from open to close.

Compensation

$14/hour base pay + tips Typical total earnings range from $20–$30+/hour
