Job summary

Enel North America, Inc. is seeking a Lead Wind Technician to oversee onsite maintenance in Satanta, Kansas.

The role involves mentoring junior technicians, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing wind turbine components, and coordinating daily maintenance using manuals and schematics. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in wind energy or 3+ years with related degree, and a technical background (associate or B.S.).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant wind energy experience.
• 3+ years with an associate degree/technical certification or a B.S. in electrical/technical.
• Mentor junior technicians and lead onsite maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead technicians to safely inspect, troubleshoot, install components, and repair wind turbines.
• Review manuals and schematics to determine tasks, tools, equipment, and parts.
• Coordinate Plan of Days and oversee day-to-day technician operations.
• Supports QA/QC activities and collaborates with Technical Support for proactive repairs.
