Job summary

Canyon Ranch Austin seeks an experienced events professional to lead daily operations of the Events department, coordinating conferences, catering, and A/V services across the property's on-site functions. This role partners with Sales & Marketing to drive revenue and client satisfaction.

You will develop detailed BEOs, maintain strong client relationships, and work with department heads to ensure flawless execution.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent two-year training/experience.
• 3–5 years in conference services or event management.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Strong industry knowledge and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, professional, client-facing representation.
• Flexibility to support diverse operational needs and on-site events.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Events department, coordinating conferences, catering, events, and A/V services.
• Collaborate with Sales & Marketing to maximize revenue and monitor group pickup and attrition.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
• Create Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and group resumes for corporate and social events.
• Work with department heads to communicate event specifics and support execution.
• Monitor the Events budget and report to the Director of Sales & Marketing.
