Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional welding experience including GTAW, FCAW, TIG, or GMAW.
• 2+ years in leading a team or project.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate welding procedures.
• Assist with tooling and fixturing designs for weld operation.
• Select base material and welding material.
• Control production weld quality.
• Utilize welding codes and standards.
• Provide personnel supervision and mentorship.
• Enforce site and personnel safety.
• Review documentation and reports.
• Supervise welding team for launch projects.
• Assess candidates and provide hiring recommendations.
• Plan, schedule, and assign work; review completed work.
• Monitor and approve timekeeping records.
• Communicate performance measurements and set standards.
