Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Fundamentals of welding and MIG welding knowledge.
• Some welding experience and/or training.
• Ability to read welding symbols and blueprints.
• Strong communication skills with management and peers.
• Experience leading a small welding team preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Supervisor in directing welders and workflow.
• Oversee robotic and manual welding operations to meet schedules.
• Provide instruction to welders and model best practices.
• Ensure safety, quality, and department organization.
• Coordinate with other departments to optimize throughput.
• Perform preventive maintenance on weld equipment as needed.
