Job summary

Metalcraft of Mayville, Inc. seeks a Robotic Welder for the 2nd shift in Wisconsin. You will operate robotic welders to fabricate metal parts to specifications, following welding theory and production procedures.

Responsibilities include setting controls, inspecting parts, MIG/TIG welding as needed, reading blueprints, maintaining quality and safety, and supporting different stations as required.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an internal welding test.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
• Basic understanding of computers and ability to perform computer functions as they pertain to the job.

Responsibilities

• Operate robotic welders to fabricate metal parts per specifications.
• Set machine factors such as wire feed speed, amperage, polarity, gas type, and electrode.
• Inspect and measure finished parts for conformance to specs.
• Load welded frames and prepare for packaging or transport.
• Read job specifications and drawings to determine welding requirements.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and follow safety regulations.
