Job summary

Wisconsin Metal Parts, LLC is seeking a full-time manufacturing operator to join our 3rd shift team and take the lead on operating and troubleshooting our robotic welder. The role offers an independent, hands-on environment with opportunities to mentor others as the shift lead.

Ideal candidates are quality-minded, capable multitaskers with manufacturing experience. Prior robotic welding exposure is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.

Qualifications

• General machine operating/manufacturing & forklift experience required.
• Prior experience operating robotic welder preferred, but training available.
• Detail-oriented, quality orientated, able to multitask.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Experience or exposure to inspection equipment helpful.
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs and perform repetitive bending/lifting.
• Able to sit or stand for up to 10 hours and walk during shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate and tend robotic welder; assist with staging welding cells/work areas and light material handling.
• Assist with routine quality inspections for welded components using tape measures and other hand tools.
• Assist with other production operations as needed: deburring equipment, milling/tapping machines, hardware inserters, press brakes.
