Job summary

Henkels & McCoy West in Hawaii seeks an experienced Welder Foreman to lead welding crews on utility, pipeline, and infrastructure projects. You will supervise field welding operations, ensure safety and quality compliance, and coordinate with project management, inspectors, and clients.

The ideal candidate has a strong welding background, can read drawings, manage schedules and manpower, and maintain welding qualifications under ASME B31.3 and API 1104.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 7+ years welding experience in industrial, pipeline, utility, mechanical, or heavy civil construction.
• 3+ years supervisory or foreman experience leading welding crews.
• Ability to read blueprints, piping drawings, isometrics, and welding specifications.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel across Hawaii.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct, and mentor crews of welders, pipefitters, and labor personnel.
• Plan daily activities and allocate manpower and equipment to maximize productivity and quality.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and per project specifications.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, piping isometrics, structural drawings, welding symbols.
• Verify welds meet acceptance criteria and maintain quality documentation.
