Island Mechanical Corporation is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Superintendent and Project Managers on a Hawaii-based pipeline-construction project. You will interpret plans, coordinate with vendors and subcontractors, develop schedules, and prepare weekly reports.

The role requires attention to safety, cost tracking, and timely communication with stakeholders. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering, or 5 years of relevant field-experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years experience as Project Coordinator with field experience is acceptable.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Interpret plans and specifications as the technical resource for the project team.
• Develop and update the project schedule and track progress.
• Assist in development of project estimates and negotiations.
• Coordinate material procurement and delivery to site.
• Prepare weekly status, safety and cost reports for executives.
